Consulting to Create the Future

You are already skilled in the content you provide (governance, grant-writing, fundraising, etc.). How can you leverage what you already know, to help your clients create amazing results in their communities?

How can your consulting work directly contribute to creating vibrant, healthy, resilient, humane places to live?

Join us for this special Workshop Event and find out!

Pre-Class Preparation:
This class will build upon content in The Pollyanna Principles: Reinventing “Nonprofit Organizations” to Create the Future of Our World. Participants are encouraged to watch the video that introduces the Pollyanna Principles and, if possible, to read the book prior to attending the class. The class will apply the principles directly to consulting as a discipline, rather than to a specific content area (boards, fundraising, etc.). It is therefore critical to have a grounding in how the principles are made practical.

You will find the video here

For participants in this class, we are offering a 30% discount for ordering The Pollyanna Principles. Just use the code OMAHA-10 at this link http://bit.ly/PollyannaPrinciples

In this 3 hour workshop, you will

  • Experience new ways of seeing and framing your work, moving beyond problem-solving to reach for your clients’ highest potential for improving their community.
  • Discover the power of questions to engage the wisdom that is already in the room.
  • Learn how to practice “compassionate listening”
    - and what to do with what you hear!
  • Experience how reflection and modeling can reinforce new knowledge, to create new behaviors.
  • Be energized by the shared wisdom of other consulting practitioners passionate about social change.

Throughout the morning, you will practice incorporating new ways of seeing and being into your work, using approaches you can use immediately to enhance results with your clients.

More important, whether you are a new consultant or have been practicing for decades, you will begin seeing your consulting practice through brand new eyes.

And when we change the way we see things, things change!
